New Colored Pages & a Wedding!

Wow, we can't believe it's been so long since our last update!

We apologize for the silence. The world kind of got strange on us and we've been so busy trying to finish things that we neglected to update you all on the progress!

NEW PAGES!

First, here are a couple of pages we just got back from the colorist just before the weekend:

WEDDING

We are getting married in 12 days! So production is halting ever so slightly until after that. The colorist has other pages to work on, and we'll be inking and lettering as we can in the meantime. And we promise we'll keep you updated more regularly as progress continues.

ALL FOR NOW

Again, we are sorry for taking so long to update you all on the book. We have been working on it. Our artist, Cesar, had some personal issues with the craziness going on and had to stop for a bit, but he recently sent us a new handful of pages as well. So the book is getting closer to being done!

I can't tell you how excited I am and how grateful I feel to have all your support in seeing this book get made. It means the world to me and I am so humbled by your belief in this story I created. So thank you from the bottom of my heart!

What's Next

Now that the campaign is over, your accounts were no doubt charged and if there were any problems Kickstarter will notify you. 

On our end, we'll be finishing the book and keeping you updated every step of the way. When it's time for surveys to go out, we'll make a post here letting you know they are coming.

Those of you that got cameos and the like, I'll be in touch privately to work out the details for those.

We also want to give a heartfelt thanks to our launch buddies whom you've heard about all campaign long. They were all funded as well, and a couple of their campaigns are still running. Thank you to Will and Travis, whose campaigns for Diary of Night and Broke Down and 4 Dead Bodies respectively came to a close recently and very successfully.

And thank you to Madeleine (Boston Metaphysical Society: Ghosts and Demons) and Scott (The Crimebusters #1-2: Supernatural Mystery Adventure awaits) whose campaigns are still running (3 days and 10 days left respectively), but both are funded and doing well!

All four of you were so super supportive and encouraging to Brant and myself, and we truly are thankful and lucky to have launched with all of you!

We Are Funded!

Hey everyone!

So we just hit our goal very early this morning! Just barely, but here we are, and I can't thank you enough!

As I've said many times before, this book is a passion project of mine and has been for years. So I'm overjoyed that you have given your support to bring these issues to life!

Now that we've hit that initial goal, hopefully we'll get to some of the stretch goals we have planned. We're sitting at less than 20 hours left so we'll see, but it's worth trying, right? :)

Stretch Goals

Just like last issue, we want to upgrade the cover stock on this one as well. So if you have issue 1 and you'd like to maintain that same quality, let's try to get this one unlocked!

We also have a cool new bookmark that is a nice companion to the last one we did, but is just as good on its own. It features Tavin this time!

And then we have an added page of story featuring Snatch should we keep going!

Moving Forward

Whether we hit those stretch goals or not, the important thing is we got the initial funding so we can finish the book and get it printed and out to you! I can't wait for you to read this next chapter and continue with the series to give you a complete story!

First Stretch Goal Unlocked!

Wow! 

We are so excited and grateful for this surge near the end! You've pushed us through our first stretch goal, and now we can upgrade the cover stock for the book!

The finish on the covers for issue 1 was a nice, sturdy and glossy finish that just turned out really nice, so we're really happy we get to do that for issue 2 now! Thank you so much!

Less than 2 hours to go, if we unlock another one we'll post about it too! Let's keep it going as far as we can, get you all more stuff!
